Göppingen/München, January 31, 2022 – Schuler has received an award from its customer Siemens for its positive development as a supplier. "Among a total of 25 'Key Suppliers' for the Purchasing Council (PuC) Production Equipment at Siemens, the press manufacturer has made the greatest progress in the areas of cost-effectiveness, sustainability, digitalization, and innovation, among others," said Andreas Wipper, who is globally responsible for the PuC Production Equipment within the central Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization at Siemens. Schuler had collected the most points in a program set up by Siemens SCM to improve supplier relations.

 

Customer representative Nicole Buck from Schuler Service accepted the award, which was presented during a video conference, on behalf of the entire company. She said the prize was not only a cause for celebration, but at the same time an incentive and motivation for the future: "Many years of trusting cooperation between Siemens and Schuler are certainly the basis for this success."
